'Mummy bloggers' are taking the world by storm. It's been inescapable over the last few years. Not surprising really. Blogging's made for mums since it can be done around the craziness of family life. Some mums set out to conquer the blogging world, others ended up there entirely by accident.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we'll be talking about starting a blog. How you can successfully build a blog from the ground up, and still be a Mum at the same time.

My guest today is SuperMum, Abby Lawson.

Abby lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, Donnie and sons Connor and Caleb who are 8 and 5. Feeling like she needed a little more in life, and on a whim, Abby set up 'Just a Girl and Her Blog'. She wrote about anything that came to mind; parenthood, home renovations and children's parties. As her confidence in blogging grew, so did her following and social media presence. Within 18 months of starting the blog, Abby recognised that there was a niche market and set about turning her humble blog into a business.

Since then, her blog has become so successful that it's no longer 'Just a Girl'. Her husband Donnie quit his job and now works full time alongside Abby. The two of them, as well as her sister, now form a team which consistently creates 5 figures every single month! This has given them a lifestyle to be envious of. Abby and Donnie share both quality time with the kids, and the work in the business. They do this four days a week... and the fifth day is reserved for family and fun.

In today's episode, we learn the step-by-step process of setting up a blog from scratch. From finding an idea, discovering your niche audience, to create engaging content every time. We also talk about the dreaded technology, and how to simply set up a website without too many headaches.

I'm delighted to welcome Abby to my show today. She teaches you that it's possible build a blog from humble beginnings (when you think no-one's reading), through to a thriving business that gives you the lifestyle of your dreams.

Being a mum doesn't mean you can't be strong, fit and healthy. It just means you achieve the goal in a different way by carving out the time and resources around the demands of your family.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we'll be talking about how to be a fit and healthy mum. And how taking a holistic approach to nutrition, mindset and exercise can lead you to having a better body, a healthier life and a calmer mind.

My guest today is SuperMum, Kimmy Smith.

Kimmy has two daughters, Allegra and Samara, who are 4 and 2. She is married to Ryan and they live in the beautiful Sydney Beaches in Australia. Kimmy's work is inspired by the natural environment where she helps pre and post natal mums to achieve a body to be proud of as part of a holistic approach to exercise, nutrition and mindfulness.

Before having children, Kimmy lived life in the fast lane. She left the house at 5am to work as a corporate lawyer, followed by 3 hours of daily training to realise her dream of playing netball professionally. Having a super fit body and a healthy pregnancy left Kimmy believing that nothing would change after having her children. But she wasn't prepared for the frustration of living in a body which to her felt floppy and frumpy.

Recognising that her pre-pregnancy aspirations were unrealistic, Kimmy trained as a yoga teacher, barre instructor and postnatal fitness expert. She focused all her exercise knowledge and experience to help mothers regain physical and mental fitness though her online program, The Fit Mummy Project.

In today's episode, you'll learn the 3 fundamental factors to Kimmy's holistic approach; fitness, nutrition and mindfulness, as well as how to incorporate these qualities into your everyday life.

I'm delighted to welcome Kimmy to my show today. She's turned her talents as a professional athlete into a business and lifestyle which helps mums gain a body that they can fall in love with.

Mums are busy. With never-ending days and constant demands on your time it can be easy to wade into the territory of overwhelm. Finding your 'Sweet Spot' can be tricky, but the scientific evidence is out there. That's right, it's possible to find a place of ease and flow, where your daily life feels natural and free.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we'll be talking about how to find the illusive 'Sweet Spot'. Taken from sports terminology, The Sweet Spot took over 3 years of research, studying the neuroscience, psychology, and sociology of productivity, performance, and positive emotions. It was then applied to our every day lives as mothers.

My guest today is SuperMum, Dr. Christine Carter.

Christine, who has two step-kids and two natural kids aged 13, 14, 15 and 16, lives in Marin County, California. She is a Happiness and Productivity expert, speaker and writer and the author of The Sweet Spot: How to Find Your Groove at Home and Work. Christine's spent the last 14 years at at UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center. Having a family of six with four teenagers in the house makes her an expert in motherhood too!

Like most mums, Christine found herself exasperated by the busyness of modern life: too many conflicting obligations and not enough time, energy, or patience to get everything done. She tried all the standard techniques: prioritizing, multitasking, delegating - even napping - but none really worked.

Determined to create a less stressful life for herself without giving up her hard-won career success or happiness at home, she road-tested every research-based tactic that promised to bring more ease into her life. Drawing on her vast knowledge of the latest research related to happiness, productivity, and elite performance, she followed every strategy that promised to give her more energy or that could make her more efficient, creative, or intelligent.

After years of research, Christine's dedication to finding answers is our reward. You just need to listen and take action. Being busy is often seen as a badge of honour, but slowing down can make you much more productive. And today, Christine will teach you how to find your groove at home and work. This will allow more ease and flow in your life and help banish busyness and chaos.

In today's episode, we explore what the 'Sweet Spot' really is and how to achieve it.  This will help you enjoy your children, be more dynamic in your work, and more productive in your everyday life.

I'm delighted to welcome Christine to my show today. She shares her own story of challenging limiting beliefs; how she dealt with the pressure of having to be happy after writing a book about it; and how she tirelessly worked to find the 'Sweet Spot' in her own life.

Admit it. Before you set out on your parenting journey, you had a firm idea of the type of parent you’d be. But there are times that, with crying babies, wilful toddlers and argumentative schoolies, living up to that dream makes you feel like you’ve failed the ‘perfect parent’ test. Big time.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be addressing what it means to be a mindful parent, how to include your children in your everyday thoughts and tasks, and the way to enjoy the experience of these intense years alongside your kids.

My guest today is SuperMum, Ruby Gwen.

Ruby, who lives in the UK, is the mother of two-and-a-half year old Christian; a proud wife; and a lover of all things creative and inspiring. She’s a the founder of Nurture with Love; as well as a “story-preneur” who helps passionate women turn their awesome story & life lessons into profitable and impactful story-based products.

Ruby lives, breathes, and teaches her motherhood philosophy of gentle, mindful parenting. Through her programs she teaches the 3 cornerstones of her own mothering philosophy; acceptance, empathy and inspiration. This helps both parents and their children to feel more connected and heard.

In her own life, Ruby successfully combines mindful parenting with running a business so nothing and no-one feels left out in the cold.

Ruby also believes there is a unique story inside us all, just waiting to come out. A story that, with the right cultivation, can become your most powerful asset. In this episode Ruby helps you explore the significance of your own story and teaches you how to align it with your own personal and professional needs.

I’m delighted to welcome Ruby to my show today. She brings with her kindness, compassion and nurturing, and shares experiences of raising her own child whilst running a business. In doing so, you’ll learn how to Nurture with Love and appreciate your own significant story.

Minimalism can seem like a ridiculous dream when you’re up to your eyes in kiddy paraphernalia. But Editing Your Life doesn’t mean having a spartan home or a frugal lifestyle.
It’s about understanding your family’s core values and priorities so you can make wise choices about what gets to stay, and what has to go.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday you’ll find out how to pare down your life to create space for the things that really matter. The activities you actually want to do, the information you want to consume, and the people who you truly want to spend time with.

My guest today is SuperMum, Christine Koh.

Christine’s the co-author of Minimalist Parenting, a book designed to help you enjoy modern family life more, by doing less. So popular was the book, that she and her fellow author Asha Dornfest went on to create and co-host their own show. Edit Your Life is a weekly podcast that ‘helps you edit the unnecessary from your life so you have more room to enjoy the awesome’.

Christine’s also the founder and editor of the award-winning Boston Mamas; founder of Brave New World Designs; and serves as the creative director at Women Online and The Mission List.

Christine lives in Boston, Massachusetts with her husband Jonathan and two daughters, Laurel and Violet who are 12 and 6.

In todays show, you’ll learn that editing your life isn’t simply about decluttering (although we do talk about that too). We discuss practical strategies for managing your time; simplifying and therefore really starting to enjoy mealtimes; streamlining the school year and controlling extra curricular activities so they don’t control you.

Oh, and of course my personal favourite, prioritising your own self-care.

I am so happy to have Christine on my show today. She’s an organisational queen, and a girl after my own heart. We have a good old chin-wag about streamlining and systematising your busy life so you can make space for the things you truly love and value.

Go Conquer Motherhood!

I divorced my first husband in my late twenties. My parents ‘stuck it out’ for 28 long and painful years for the sake of us kids. And now I’m blissfully happy in an extremely loving and fulfilling marriage with a man who feels the same way. So when it comes to the question of ‘should I stay or should I go’, I’m torn.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be discussing the huge decision of stepping away from a broken marriage and becoming a solo parent.

My guest today is SuperMum, Holly Christie.

Just a few short months ago Holly and her husband were living the ‘married with 2.4 children’ life. She now shares the time she spends with her two young sons who are 3 and 7, with her ex. Holly has tried to keep her life as normal as possible and continues to work around her children’s schedule as a self-employed Social Media expert. Her office is her own front room in London, UK.

Holly says that you never go into a marriage expecting that one day it will all be over, but sometimes you find yourself there. She and her husband had both grown up knowing marriage was expected of them. Having tried repeatedly to make the relationship work, she realised it was time to throw the jigsaw pieces in the air and lay down a new life with new rules for their family.

The attitude you have towards separation, she says, can influence every area of yours and your childrens’ lives. Neither Holly or her husband wished to relive the acrimony of their own parents’ divorces. So they worked out a way to be solo parents, and co-parent their boys to ensure they experience the best childhood possible.

During this episode we explore living up to the expectations of our parents’ generation but at the same time fitting in with modern demands. We talk about the realities of mothering today, and how social media has led us to different possibilities. We explore how the rise of the ‘mummy power bloggers’ have opened up new channels and support for mums in all stages of parenthood.

I am so happy to have Holly on my show today. She’ll explain how bucking the trend and living the best life for you and your family is not only possible, but in everyone’s best interests.

Before becoming a parent, you had your life pretty-much sorted. That included forging a career you loved and worked hard to excel in. You assumed your baby would just slot effortlessly into life as you knew it. Why wouldn’t you? After all, you’re completely in control of the world you built. Right?
In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be talking about what happens when your children come along, and with them the realisation that you suddenly hate your career. The life goals and achievements you used to be so passionate about just don’t seem to matter anymore.

My guest today is SuperMum, Monica Froese.

Monica lives in Buffalo, New York with her husband and 4 year old daughter, Lydia. Following a traumatic delivery experience, and dealing with the repercussions that followed, Monica found her priorities and goals had been turned upside down. The corporate career and business travel that she once loved were no longer enjoyable or fulfilling once her daughter came along.

Her despondence with family-friendly workplace policies led her to the US White House, where she discussed the concerns of many working mums with Obama’s senior advisors. She even met the President himself.

However, still disillusioned, Monica wasn’t willing to accept this as her new normal. Instead, she and her husband forged a strategy so that she could leave the corporate world behind and start an online business from home. Monica now helps other mums throw away the guilt, and empowers them to build an online business that brings her flexibility and fulfilment.

Today Monica will help you understand whether working from home really is the ticket to freedom that you think it is, and if so, how to make the transition from being employed to being your own boss. She’ll talk about finding the balance between work and family, staying motivated in your new day-job, and how to effectively manage your time around your work and your children.

I am so happy to have Monica on my show today as she’ll help you consider whether a work from home life really is for you. We’ll hear about her practical resources for setting up an online business and she’ll walk you through her formula to success.

When you set out on your parenting journey you never planned on being a ‘Hot Mess’. However, there are days when that’s how you end up. I know. I’ve had those days too. But the great news is, it’s possible to change that. Tell me what you’d rather be. A Hot Mess or a Mindful Mum?

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be discussing how you can shift your experience as a mum by changing the way you deal with all that life throws at you. And it’s done through the use of mindfulness and meditation.

My guest today is SuperMum, Ali Katz.

Ali’s a mindfulness coach, meditation teacher, author, wife and mum to two boys aged 11 and 9. She loves sharing her passion for living a balanced life with others, and has been featured on MindBodyGreen, Style magazine, Fox 26 News, HerFuture, Houston Family magazine, and LiveMom.com. When not meditating, writing, teaching, or spending time with her family in Houston, Texas, Ali enjoys running, practicing yoga, and sipping tea.

Ali’s mission is to inspire mothers to leave overwhelm, stress and guilt behind and embrace a life of balance, presence and joy. What I love about what Ali has to share is that she keeps it real. She’s a busy mum herself, so she gets that you don’t have spare time to head off to a mountain top to sit cross-legged saying omm’s.

Instead she brings mindfulness and meditation right back into your crazy life, and teaches you how to stay calm and balanced even when you’re scraping dried on Weetabix off the carpet. Again.

I’m delighted to welcome Ali to my show as she’ll walk you through the reasons why meditation and mindfulness are so important in your every day life. And she’s here to help you see the importance of taking time to make sure you really are your very best self.

Having a successful career takes energy, drive and determination. Long hours, a heavy work load and the pressure to say yes to everything can be overwhelming. But when you become a parent and throw children into the mix, combining work and parenthood can start to really swamp you. But you don’t want to give either up.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday you’ll discover a way through that fog. Because it’s possible to be committed, not only to your family, but to keeping your career alive.

My guest today is SuperMum, Sarah Argenal.

Sarah and her husband, Joey live in San Diego, California. They have a 3 year old boy Beckett, and are expecting their second son in June. After becoming a mum, Sarah found the demands of working in Corporate Litigation alongside juggling family life to be exhausting and overwhelming. So she started a futile quest for help and information. But there was nothing out there.

She knew that something had to change, if not only for herself, but for the many other corporate parents who wanted to keep a firm foothold in both worlds. After hundreds of hours of research, Sarah created her own support system and founded the Working Parent Resource.

Sarah offers her community of like-minded working mums and dads reliable information and practical training to help them successfully manage their career and home life. Her Frazzled to Balanced™ Bootcamp “helps ambitious working parents slow down and reclaim their time so they can focus on what matters most.”

Today Sarah shares her journey of navigating her corporate career; keeping her relationships alive and her home life happy; and being the best mum she can possibly be. All whilst helping other parents figure out how to have it all too.

I’m delighted to have Sarah on my show today as she’ll teach you how to manage your time, conserve your energy; take time out to recharge and focus on you; AND achieve a happy balance between home and work.

It will comfort you to know, that having a PhD in Child Development doesn’t necessarily mean you feel like an expert when it comes to raising your own children. The decisions and choices you make for your children are just as tough, with or without prior knowledge.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be discussing what it’s like for an English woman to raise children in America; how traditional roles can be turned on their heads; and how a career researching child development can influence parenting techniques.

My guest today is SuperMum, Lekki Frazier-Wood.

Originally from London, Lekki started her career as a Social Scientist specialising in child development, and has spent 8 years living in Alabama and Texas. English-born Lekki now lives in Houston with her American husband Wes, 4 year old son and daughter of 15 months. She’s a Professor of Paediatrics, studying childhood nutrition at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Before meeting her husband, it never crossed Lekki’s mind that she would marry an American or have children anywhere other than England. And having kids in a foreign land has challenged her thinking about the norms of the Southern ‘Bible Belt’ and now views parenting practises from a fresh perspective.

Lekki offers us a glimpse into her professional and personal world, including insights into her academic study of childhood nutrition, as well as her personal views on feeling confident whilst navigating the parenting maze.

I’m excited to welcome Lekki to my show today where she will assure you that no matter what your style of parenting, loving your children means you’re already doing an amazing job.

It’s easy to limit yourself to something short of your true potential. That’s because as mums, we have a huge amount of pressure with everything else that life throws at us. But although we have to fight longer and harder, that shouldn’t stop us achieving the things we want.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be discussing our individual glass ceilings, the importance of speaking to ourselves with love, and what the heck Theta Healing is.

My guest today is SuperMum, Joss Hobson.

Joss, who lives in New Zealand with her two teenage children, trained as a Clinical Psychologist. However, she didn’t feel her work took her to the deepest parts of human thoughts and behaviour that she craved. But when she stumbled upon Theta Healing, she found it to be the building block to connecting the body, brain and soul.

Joss became a Theta Healing Practitioner and soon had a year-long waiting list of clients. This incredible demand helped her realise that her time would be much better spent teaching and mentoring Theta Healing practitioners so she should spread the message more widely.

She now works with people, helping them reach the deepest roots of who they are, and releasing blocks so they can lead present, fulfilling lives. And she will do the same for you today.

I am excited to welcome Joss to my show today where she will tell us her thoughts on raising children, help us to ask ‘Where is the love in that?’ and help us eradicate our limiting beliefs.

Life isn’t always straightforward. Blended families are now common-place. Women have careers to juggle as well as the kids. There’s so much to think about and so much to juggle that it’s hard to know what to focus on first.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be discussing blended families, forging a career you love and how to stay on top of work and home.

My guest today is SuperMum, Fay Wallis.

Fay lives in Greater London, with her husband, Ian and their sons who are 10 and 5 years. Fay’s blended family is a labyrinth, spanning two generations. Her parents having been married 4 times, she has two half siblings, two full siblings and 2 step siblings. This helped Fay to negotiate the logistics of parenting children with vast age ranges and different needs. For when she married Ian, he too had children from his first marriage, and she became a step-mother herself.

Whilst juggling the logistics of organising Sunday lunches and enough birthday and Christmas presents to serve a small army, Fay forged a successful career in HR. She later trained to become a Career Coach, helping people to access the tools to empower themselves to lead a fulfilling working life.

Fay will help us navigate the maze of returning to work, changing career and spending quality time with family, all whilst finding enough time to look after herself too.

I am excited to welcome Fay to my show today where she will tell us all about her busy life and empower you to live the career and home lives you deserve.

Do you feel under pressure to feed your children healthily when all they want are sweets and chocolate? Do you feel bewildered by food labels that appear to be healthy but you’re not quite sure?

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday you’ll discover about a passion so strong, it became a life changer.

My guest today is SuperMum, Bel Smith.

Bel is a Health and Wellness coach and lives a life on the road with her husband, Israel, ten year old daughter and six year old son. Last year they made the giant leap of selling their home and investing in a big green bus named Kaley. Bel and her family made it their mission to spend two years touring Australia spreading the important message of eating well for a better life.

Bel is the creator of the Mad Food Science™ Programme where she teaches children, parents and teachers how to understand food labelling and make informed choices. She also created the 5 Minute Healthy Lunchbox System™ as a way to help reduce the stress for parents packing lunch boxes.

Having turned to nutrition to treat her husband’s diagnosis of depression, Bel quickly saw the affects the quality of nutrition were having on all members of her family. She learned that what you put in your body has a direct affect on your mood, emotions and overall wellness. Bel knows that knowledge of nutrition is a powerful tool to both mental and physical wellness and wanted to spread her message.

Today Bel shares her family’s incredible journey across the length and breath of Australia. And she encourages you to think, ‘What would Jamie [Oliver] do?’ not only when considering your food choices, but your life choices.

I’m delighted to have Bel on my show today as she’ll teach you how to transform your life through following your passion, standing for what you believe in, and the power of self belief.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? A confident, strong and empowered woman, or a tired and frazzled wreck?

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday you’ll learn that, how you view yourself as a women and as a mother, is a strong reflection to your children upon which they base their own behaviours.

My guest today is SuperMum, Christine Watts.

Christine and her husband live in rural Victoria, Australia, and have three daughters in their twenties. She’s an experienced teacher who has taught all age groups, and was a founding member of a Steiner school.

Christine now works with children, parents and teachers to help children build confidence, have high self esteem, create physical awareness and develop emotional intelligence.

Christine believes that it’s not the words you say to your children that really matters, but who you reveal yourself to be. How you choose to behave, to act, and to express yourself as a mother, has a direct impact on your children because they follow the lead of your example.

Christine encourages you to use innovation, creativity and imagination as the basis for raising happy, healthy and confident children. By doing so, this empowers our little ones to be the greatest version of themselves and enables them to create a brilliant world for themselves.

Which means, of course, a brilliant world for you too.

I am excited to welcome Christine to my show today because she’ll introduce you to using your own values and core beliefs to model the behaviours you want your children to mirror.

How do you know whether you’re being successful as a mum when there’s no measure? No pay rise, no promotion, no pat on the back.

In this episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday you’ll find out what success looks like in your role as a mum so you can go out and start to achieve it.

My guest today is SuperMum, Jody Moore.

Jody lives in Roseville, California with her husband and four children who are 14 months, 3, 9 and 10. Jody is a Speaker, Life Coach and Momologist. That’s right, a Momologist. She’s an expert on mums.

Through her work, Jody helps mums understand and define success and believes that happiness is a skill that can be taught. Once Jody figured out how to change her own reality to a much happier one, she couldn’t keep it to herself and went on to found the Bold New Mom community.

In her decade of experience bringing up children, Jody knew her role as a mum was the most important one. Yet, like a lot of mums, felt it was the one she was the least qualified to perform well. This led her to learn about how to be successful in the ‘job’, and to reprogram her mind to achieve it. She realised that negative emotion and disappointment can actually be used to serve us.

Jody will teach you that being successful will help shape other areas of your life. In doing so, you can relieve yourself of the pressure to always have to get it right; drop your innate desire to continually keep your children happy; and start to retain your own identity despite the relentless demands of motherhood.

I am delighted to have Jody on my show today as she’ll help you understand that success is measured by things within your control, and will hand you the tools you need to excel as a mum.

Want to know how to be happy, happy, happy?

Welcome to Mum-to-Mum Monday where you’re about to rediscover your happiness. Remember that? The smiling face you used to have that’s long-since been buried under piles of laundry and the demands of family life.

But today you’ll discover how to reconnect with your inner joy, even during the most challenging of times, while the little people in your world continue to keep you rushed off your feet.

My guest today is SuperMum, Olivia Horne.

Olivia is a Happiness Coach and lives in West London with her husband and two daughters who are 4 and almost 2. Her degree in Experimental Psychology from The University of Oxford, UK and vast experience in the Well-Being Industry was bought together after her less-than-magical first experience of motherhood.

It compelled her to help change the lives of other mothers so they don’t encounter the same negative experience of motherhood that she suffered.

Juggling young children, work, relationships and the demands of running a household is all in a days work for Olivia. But she has learned, and is able to teach you, that being in touch with your happiness is critical in moulding your day to day decisions. You’ll be better able to tap into your instincts, give yourself the freedom of choice and become more self-assured in your life as a parent.

As Olivia says, the expectations of motherhood can be very different from the reality, and this can very quickly erode your sense of identity, confidence and your capacity to care for yourself. But she will help you peel away your feelings of frustration, self-doubt, worry and guilt to reveal the happiness that’s been lurking beneath all along.

When you’re able to connect with your own internal happiness you can finally learn to slow down and smell the roses, live in the moment a little more, and be truthful with yourself. Your life then becomes more joyful and carefree as you muddle through motherhood.

I can’t wait to introduce Olivia to you today as she will help you to find your buried happiness and gently encourage it back to the surface.

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday we’ll be talking about how to rediscover a new passion, power and purpose in your life to create meaningful success and a purposeful balance in your life.

My guest today is SuperMum, Sally Thibault.

Sally has three adult children, one of whom is autistic, and lives on the Gold Coast of Australia with her husband of 35 years to the day. Sally is a professional Keynote Speaker, the author of two books, and a certified Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also a Women’s Success Mentor and facilitates the Reclaim You programs.

With over 35 years experience in the Health and Wellness Industry, Sally has been featured extensively in Australian national and local media and is currently the Health and Wellness Expert on a Queensland national radio programme.

As the mother of adult children, Sally gives us her benefit of hindsight and perspective on raising children, and she shares with us how she overcame many of the obstacles of motherhood.

It wasn’t an easy journey, having three children, one with Aspergers Syndrome, as well as managing her career.

Over the years, Sally has learned about the true meaning of purpose, parenting and living in the present. She believes the patterns of the past hold the solutions to what you want in the future. Today Sally will help us make sense of those patterns in order to follow through with the intentions you have set, and create success in your life as a mum.

I’m so happy to have Sally on my show today. She has so much wisdom to share from a mum who’s been there in the trenches. She’s here to share the strength and positivity she gained from her experiences throughout her mothering years.

Go Conquer Motherhood!

Oct 2, 2017

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday, you’ll learn how to ‘Risk Forward™’. Motherhood can be a time of great uncertainty and it’s hard to figure out the best way forward. You’re often left without direction as to the right path to choose. Turns out, that’s a good thing.

My guest today is Victoria Labalme.

Victoria, who has four adult step-children and lives with her husband in New York, is a Strategic Performance Coach and Performing Artist. She’s an accomplished keynote and TEDx speaker, and has been in professional show business for over two decades. Her impressive list of clients include corporate giants such as Starbucks, Microsoft and PayPal.

Although Victoria commonly helps elite entrepreneurs, best-selling authors and C-suite executives to communicate with confidence, authenticity and impact, her work can also be applied to mums. In fact, the concept of Risking Forward™ aligns perfectly with mums because it’s something you already do so naturally without even realising it.

Rather than feeling lost, Victoria teaches you that stepping forward, slightly off balance with your heart open can be a beneficial way to live your life. Uncertainty is actually a virtue, and we need to embrace it and find confidence in it.

I’m so excited to welcome Victoria to my podcast because she shows you that, as she says in her Risk Forward™ TEDx talk, “Periods of uncertainty, when a path or a project is not yet clear, are fertile and full of promise and that they are to be respected and honoured.”
