In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday, we’ll be talking about how to discover, understand and use your true strengths. As women we’re often quick to identify our weaknesses, but are much more reserved when it comes to seeking out our strengths. The thing is, if we can play to our strengths and see them as our superpowers, we can use them to our advantage.

My guest today is SuperMum Nikki Smith

Nikki is a Psychologist and Career Coach, and the mum of two daughters who are 7 and 4. She’s a keen surfer loves to catch the waves at the beach near her home in Barwon Heads in Australia.

In her work, Nikki focuses on helping her clients get to know their true strengths and encourages them to leverage those strengths to transform their work life into something that they’re passionate about.

In todays show, Nikki teaches us that your true strengths are activities that energise you, and that you find ease with. The great thing about understanding your strengths, is that you can employ them in all areas areas of your life, including your role as mum.

When you discover your strengths, you gain clarity, confidence and momentum in your life; and when you play to them, you double your productivity, resilience and creativity.

I’m really excited to talk to Nikki today because she will help you understand your strengths and in doing so, discover the best possible you.

Go Conquer Motherhood!

Jul 21, 2017

This morning on the 30 minute walk to school, I counted the number of times I moaned at my kids.

I ran out of fingers and toes.

But I’m OK with that, because I’m keeping my kids safe, I’m teaching them to be kind, I’m helping them to be compassionate.

I’m bringing them up to be good citizens of the world, and I’m doing my job well.

But at what point to I need to stop being so uptight, and start laughing a little?

In this weeks episode of The Friday Café, Michelle Dawson and I talk about when it’s OK to stop being the mummy-police and start to let our hair down a little.

Go Conquer Motherhood!

In today’s episode of Mum-to-Mum Monday, we’ll be talking about abundance. Often in life, we’re bombarded with messages of scarcity, so much so, you might start to feel the optimism, hope and belief in yourself starting to drain away. But don’t despair, because it is possible to make a shift to the abundance mindset where you stay positive, keep smiling, and have your eyes wide open to all the possibilities, freedom and choice you deserve.

My guest today is SuperMum Julie Ann Cairns

Julie, a former economist for the Reserve Bank of Australia lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband and 12 year old daughter. She’s been working in the finance and wealth-creation industry for over 25 years and has taught more than 10,000 people how to create wealth and trade the international financial markets.

Her financial knowledge, alongside her own personal story of both making, and loosing fortunes, lead her to write, produce and direct her own documentary film called The Abundance Code which we’ll be talking about today.

The Abundance Code brings together over a dozen experts to bring you practical tips and inspiration to stay out of scarcity and keep moving into abundance. To connect and create. To collaborate instead of competing. To find purpose and meaning in your life instead of feeling lost, confused and alone.

I’m so happy to welcome Julie to the show today because she will inspire you to transform yourself and your life, and empower you to live an abundant life free from limiting beliefs.
